The language and culture courses offer a complete overview of Italian culture. In addition to the 4 group lessons of the standard course in the morning (2 grammar lessons from 9.10 to 10.50 and 2 conversation lessons from 11.10 to 12.50), this course provides 1 individual lesson per day of Italian art and culture. So the students will study Italian grammar during the morning lessons and then concentrate on the culture, art and traditions of Italy during the afternoon.
The course is therefore dedicated to those who want to deepen all the typical aspects of the Italian peninsula and of Florentine art, to better understand the customs and traditions.
The course includes the after-school activities scheduled in the afternoon (conferences at schools, guided tours, visits of churches, museums and laboratories, Italian film projections).
The language and culture course is reserved for those who already have a good level of Italian knowledge.
The weekends are likewise full of events and activities: tours and guides visits in the beautiful Italian cities of Siena, Pisa, Venice, Rome, cooking courses, .... They will be the elements characterized by Istituto Italiano so that the students' stay in Florence and in our school could also be fun and pleasant.
At the end of the course our certificate of attendance is released.
At the end of each level, you can take the exams for the knowledge of the Italian language. Certifications are recognized all over the world: CELI *, CILS * and CERT.IT *.
