At Piazza Duomo see the Exploding cart- A huge cart is detonated in front of one of the largest churches in Florence amidst cheering crowds on Easter. A large procession, which consists of Florentines dressed in Renaissance costumes, trumpeters, drummers, flag throwers, along with four white oxen bring the cart in front of Piazza Duomo. The exploding carriage is followed by fireworks. Florentines follow this tradition for a good harvest.
