It consists of works from artists like Michelangelo, Pontormo, Giambologna, etc.

The exhibition takes place from 21st September 2017 to 21st January 2018, titled The Cinquecento in Florence, which will be hosted by Palazzo Strozzi.

This marvelous show has devoted itself to art belonging to the 16th century in Florence, that displays over seventy works of arts by the artists like Michelangelo, Giorgio Vasari, Santi di Tito, Bronzino, Pontormo, Rosso Fiorentino, Bartolomeo Ammanti, and Giamologna.

This trilogy of the exhibition was first curated by Bronzino in 2010 followed by Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino in 2014, this being the final act of the trilogy.

This last act of exhibition explores an era of incredible yet beautiful intellectual and cultural talent that’s been marked by both the Council of Trent and its Counter-reformation and also by the one of the greatest in the field of arts in Europe, Francesco l de’ Medici.

Not only does this exhibition helps you but it also helps Palazzo Strozzi to combine all the synergies with institutions and museums both in Tuscany and internationally, whereas there’s a massive campaign of restoration taken out for this particular exhibition.

The aim of this exhibition is to bring international quality and cultural events to Tuscany and Florence. The art ranges from the ancient era to modern contemporary art.

They are also planning on conducting many more exhibitions like Radical Utopias: Beyond Architecture: Florence 1966 – 1976, Birth of Nation: Italian Art from the Postwar to 1968, and Marina Abramovic.

1)    Radical Utopias – Celebrates the amazing creative season of the radical movement in Florence from 1960s through the 70s. This exhibition consists of narratives, videos, etc to help you relive a completely different world that helped development of art on a global level.

2)    Birth of Nation – This exhibition will take you on a journey of politics, art, and society through the artworks by great artists like Lucio Fontana, Alerto Burri, Mario Merz, Mario Schifano, Renato Guttuso, and Michelangelo Pistoletto.

3)    Marina Abramovic –  As the name suggests the exhibition is completely based on one of the most controversial personalities Marina Abramovic who is better known for her knowledge of art.
